Under the name Ducrolloy PLANSEE manufactures special chromium alloys, which show optimized physical properties compared to pure chromium in certain applications. Examples are Cr-0.4La2O3 or a great number of CrFe or CrNi alloys.
In comparison with Ducropur CrFe alloys show a higher warm strength and a better oxidation behavior and can be used at temperatures up to 1400 °C.
Chromium alloys are continually further developed by PLANSEE especially to meet the high requirements in the thin film technology.
