Stationary Anodes

Stationary anode
PLANSEE offers a variety of different types of stationary anode-targets in refractory and precious metals – back casted with copper – for x-ray tubes. Most commonly used materials for targets are VM-tungsten and tungsten rhenium alloys. Due to PLANSEE’s special joining technology an optimum heat transition between target and copper is guaranteed. Integrated shieldings against scattered radiation as well as seperate shielding heads made from various materials are also part of the PLANSEE delivery program.

X-ray tubes with stationary anodes are used for dental x-ray, security inspection (luggage inspection) as well as for material inspection.

Advantages:

  • Highest thermal conductivity
  • Optimum joining between target and copper

Forms of delivery:

  • Stationary anodes according to customers drawings
  • Shielding heads according to customers drawings
  • Targets made from refractory alloys
